Yelapa Sailing Adventure
Join the crew of the Tinuviel, a fifty-four foot sailboat, for a fabulous all-day excursion to the remote fishing town of Yelapa. This charming fishing village is nestled along the southern coast of Bahia de Banderas ( Banderas Bay). This quiet coastal town remains unconnected by roads to the rest of civilization. You can only reach this coastal oasis on foot or on horseback through a jungle trail or by boat on Banderas Bay. Once you reach this beautiful seaside village, you will feel as though you have been transported to a slower more peaceful time. It is an ideal environment to relax and unwind, away from the hectic lifestyle of the modern world. This maritime trip to Yelapa is the perfect remedy for the overworked and under-rested.
You’ll feel like you are already in paradise on your journey out to Yelapa from Puerto Vallarta or Nuevo Vallarta. Our English-fluent crew will cater to your every need as you enjoy the sights from the gorgeous Burmese Teak deck of the Tinuviel. Make sure you scan the waters of the Bay for marine mammal activity. Banderas Bay is home to a number of cetaceans, including Humpback Whales (depending on the season) as well as Spotted, Pacific Bottlenose and Spinner Dolphins. You may even be surprised by the sight of a Manta Ray as it leaps from the surface of the water. Our crackerjack bilingual staff takes pride in providing superior service.
Once you reach the pristine beachside community of Yelapa, you can explore the jungle trails and swim in placid pools next to cascading waterfalls. You can lounge on the beach or heads offshore for some fantastic snorkeling above spectacular coral reefs teeming with sea life.
