Banderas Bay and the Mexican Pacific Ocean are known for their marvelous underwater treasures and certified divers from all over the world flock to our beautiful region for a first class diving adventure.
If you would like to explore corals and reefs, tropical fish and other sea creatures yourself, but do not have a diving certificate, you have come to the right place. Our certified divemasters are looking forward to introducing you to the secrets of scuba diving at the PADI 5 Star Dive Center, conveniently located in Puerto Vallarta. Our Learn to Dive program welcomes future divers age 10 and above. These resort diving classes will teach you the basics of scuba diving and offer instructions that make learning how to dive easy and safe. Our lessons are roughly 2 hours long and include theory, basic skills, and actual diving in a pool in one of the Puerto Vallarta hotels. Upon course completion, we will take you to one of our most exciting diving locations, either Marietas Islands or Las Caletas.
If you have never experienced the wonders and excitement of scuba diving, let us prepare you for the most fascinating adventure of floating underwater and discovering all that our crystal-clear waters have to offer. Float through rock formation and into caves, marvel at reefs that are teeming with an abundance of aquatic flora and fauna, and swim alongside large schools of the most colorful fish you have ever seen. There is no better place to start your career as a scuba diver. When you have finished your Learn to Dive lessons, a diver’s paradise awaits you.

- Professional diving instruction at certain Puerto Vallarta hotels.
- Not present any respiratory, cardiovascular or ear problems.
- Be in good mental and physical condition for diving.
- Avoid being under the influence of alcohol or drugs while diving.
- Be at least 10 years old, not be pregnant and not fly within a period of 24 hours after a dive.
- An Acknowledgement of Risk will need to be signed before participating in any of our dive programs.
