Nothing is more relaxing than trekking on horseback into the splendid green jungles of the Sierra Madres. You will be amazed by the tropical beauty of this timeless region of Mexico. Climb aboard one of our majestic horses and find yourself transported into a simpler time and place. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you’ll escape civilization on a ranch just fifteen minutes from the hotel zone.
The tour begins on our ranch near a small village where our expert wranglers will especially select a horse for each rider in order to maximize your riding enjoyment. Our experienced bilingual guides are both professional and accommodating. They love to share their expansive knowledge of the history and culture of this magnificent region of Mexico. Once you are comfortable on your horse, the tour wanders along the banks of the scenic Pitillal River before resting briefly next to a jungle waterfall. Feel free to cool off and take a refreshing swim in paradise. After your dip, we’ll climb a mountain trail up to the perfect vantage point to enjoy the panoramic vista overlooking breathtaking Banderas Bay. Be sure to bring your camera, because you will definitely want to capture the unbelievable beauty of this seascape. The tour then continues down the trail to an authentic local restaurant nestled on the side of the mountain.
You will never forget dining in this spectacular setting before setting off into the jungle to return to our ranch before riding back to Puerto Vallarta in an air-conditioned van.
